Mark your calenders ..the second annual Freedom Folk and Soul Fest is coming to Tennessee, Oct 8-12, 2014. The festival has grown from a one day music festival on the banks of the picturesque Piney River in Bon Aqua, TN to a 5 day event travelling from East to West, North to South to the heart of Music City.

The Freedom Folk and Soul Fest 2014 will kick off on Wednesday Oct 8 at the Belcourt Theater with the South East Premier of "Song of the New Earth" A lyrical documentary about one man’s quest to integrate modern science and ancient mysticism through the transformative power of music and sound. Director Ward Serrill (The Heart of the Game), editor Eric Frith (Eden), Producers Betsy Chasse (What the Bleep Do We Know!?) and Sophie Jane Mortimer, present Song of the New Earth, featuring the life journey of renowned sound healer, psychotherapist and modern day mystic Tom Kenyon from a young aspiring Nashville musician to an internationally revered sound alchemist.

With Spiritual Artist and Toltec Teacher Dawn Zurlinden, 6-9pm
Spark of Life Healing Foods will open their doors and welcome the Freedom Folk and Soul Fest with a special night of entertainment focused on inspired living and healthy food called "FOUR CHEFS, FOUR COURSES and FOUR AGREEMENTS' based on Don Miguel Ruiz best seller "Four Agreements" which has helped millions of people create a better life and path to personal freedom. Spiritual Artist and Toltec Teacher Dawn Zurlinden a specialist in experiential therapy, LCSW, MSSW will lead the fun night with music by James Nihan.
New York Times best-selling book The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom. Originally introduced to Oprah and her audience by Ellen DeGeneres , The Four Agreements would eventually be selected as one of Oprah's Favorite Things and soar to the top of the best-seller list. FREEDOM FOLK AND SOUL ADVENTUREWORKS 10AM to 2PM
Freedom Folk and Soul is teaming up with Adventureworks Park to create an exciting fun filled package for you explorers and thrill seekers. The day will include a canopy tree top zip line tour and your choice of the Quantum Leap or Giant Swing, both a great way to top off your adventure. Face your fears, learn to trust and work as a team.

FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER, DRUM CIRCLE, FREEDOM FIREWALK, AND CAMPFIRE CONCERT 5PM-11PM
Friday night the festival moves West Of Nashville to Golden Wings Retreat Center for Dinner, Drum Circle and transformational Freedom Firewalk and campfire concert.. A chance to challenge beliefs, walk through fears and empower you to live the life of your dreams. Camping is available.

Saturday continues West of Nashville for a full day of music and magic for the whole family at the Freedom Folk and Soul Fest at Piney River Escapes in Bon Aqua, TN from 11 am to 9 pm . Kick off your shoes, wade or fish in the water and watch the river roll by as the the majestic fall trees turn colors while listening to music by soul singers Jonell Mosser, Etta Britt, John McAndrews, Stephanie Urbina Jones and Sherrie Phillips of Mamas Gotta Sing and more. Don't miss a chance for a riverside massage,accupuncture and arts and crafts. There will be pumpkin painting and all day games for the kids. Don't miss this adventure of freedom, folk, and soul on the Piney!
SUNDAY OCT 12th
FULL CIRCLE
On Sunday the 5 day event will come to a close with Yoga, Meditation and a Native American Sweat Lodge at Golden Wings Retreat Center for Freedom Folk Soulers who purchase weekend packages. The festival will come to a full circle with a final viewing of the "Song of the New Earth" at Unity of Music City in Old Hickory,TN.
